Bespoke Commission

The Atelier

A PESHA bespoke commission is not a product. It is a collaboration between you, India's master craftswomen, and a thousand years of living tradition. It is made once. It exists only for you.

The Process

How a PESHA piece is made for you

01

The Consultation

A private conversation — in person, on call, or over WhatsApp. We learn what this piece means to you. Is it for a wedding? An inheritance? A debut on a world stage? The occasion shapes every decision.

02

The Selection

We present you with silk swatches and art form samples. You choose the foundation: the silk variety, the base colour, the art tradition. For bespoke pieces, we will suggest the craftswomen best suited to your vision.

03

The Commission

Your chosen craftswomen begin. You receive photographs at each stage — the weaving, the priming, the first strokes of the art. You are present in the making, even from a distance.

04

The Provenance

The finished piece is documented: the names of the craftswomen, the dates of making, the materials used, the art tradition. This document travels with the saree, forever. It is the proof of what you hold.
